Grad School Now! is a graduate school search tool for prospective students. We aggregate and analyze multiple data sources to provide better Graduate School information.
We used the latest technologies to create Grad School Now!: Ruby on Rails 3.0 with Haml/Sass for the front end, MongoDB for the database and Apache Solr for search.
ResearchWatch
We built a faceted search to allow researchers and government officials to explore the NSF research grants.
We used Ruby on Rails for the front-end and Scala to develop a custom query parser for Apache Solr.
TweetShow
Twitter iPhone app that allows you to watch your tweets hands free.
We developed TweetShow as a native iPhone app using Objective-C.
Open Source Projects
Paypal Adaptive Payments Gem for Ruby: We developed the Paypal Adaptive Payments gem while working on Next Sprocket. It allows users to make payments to other users through Paypal.
Pig Latin Textmate bundle: We work with Pig as a higher level abstraction for the Apache Hadoop framework. Textmate is one of our favorite editors so we made a pig bundle for it.

Pfizer: We built a system monitoring utility for a cluster computing grid.

SPAWAR: Naval Research: We worked with researchers on applying computer vision techniques for a ship detection framework on satellite imagery. C++, Matlab.
Intuit: We developed the QuickBooks Database Server Manager to allow multiple accountants to use same Quickbooks database. Language Used: C#.
